I can confirm that Healy gave out a few patches to someone who gave him blow.

12/1/79
5/19/77
8/4/76
9/25/76

are some examples...

sounds like personal experience;)

Ok, so he was "patchin'" for nose candy

why did the band put up with Healy's BS?

and why did Phil and Bobby's opinions seem not to matter?

the band never listened to tape and thier monitors dont pickup the PA mix to which dan would effect bobs vocals. apparently bob was made aware by his camp and had been apealling to phil and jerry for years. the incident at RFK where he embarrassed the band by not giving Sting full power was the catalyst for them to finally quit blowing bob off and listen to tape.

the reason bob had never gotten traction before that was said to be because of healys tenure and status with jerry and phil. he wasnt just an employee he had been the soundman since 66 when he was working for Quicksilver and phils bass rig failed and he repaired it allowing their set to happen.
